Test flight lands successfully at New Benazir Airport

ISLAMABAD: A test flight of a small aircraft successfully landed on New Benazir Airport at Islamabad which is scheduled to be inaugurated in June.According to Pakistan Television (PTV), Federal Defense Minister Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar was also present on this occasion.It will be the first airport ever constructed in Pakistan on which the world's largest commercial flights can be landed, he told adding that ëthis airport was constructed by a Pakistani company which is an honour for the country.íOn... more
