Militants attack college in Mardan; 15 injured

MARDAN: Fifteen female students were wounded when men riding a motorbike threw two hand grenades inside the premises of a girls’ college in northwest Pakistan's Mardan region on Tuesday, DawnNews reported.

The injured students were shifted to Mardan’s Takhtbai hospital.

Militants were also reported to have opened fire on the college building.

Militants have attacked hundreds of schools in the turbulent northwestern region.
