| LAHORE, Feb 23: The Met Office on Wednesday forecast light rain for the provincial metropolis during the next 24 hours. According to weather pundits, the westerly wave that continues to affect the upper country may cause light rain in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujranwala and Faisalabad divisions, besides upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir during the next 24 hours. Snowfall is also expected in the mountain areas. On Tuesday isolated rain was recorded in some parts of the country. According to data, 19mm rain was recorded in Quetta, 8mm in Kalat, 6mm in Parachinar, 4mm in Zhob, 3mm in DG Khan, and 1.5mm in Multan during the last 24 hours. On Wednesday Lahore’s minimum temperature was 10 degrees C and maximum was 22 degrees C, Multan 10 degrees C and 23 degrees C, Faisalabad 10 degrees C and 22 degrees C, Murree 2 degrees C and 10 degrees C, Gilgit 3 degrees C and 13 degrees C, Muzaffarabad 7 degrees C and 18 degrees C, Karachi 15 degrees C and 28 degrees C, Quetta 2 degrees C and 13 degrees C. — APP |
