LANDI KOTAL, May 2: To ensure access of clean drinking water to the residents of Janas Khan Kili Yousufabad, the Khyber Agency political administration has completed a drinking water supply scheme. The administration has also rebuilt a flood protection wall and a street, which were damaged in recent floods. A press release issued by the directorate of information Fata on Monday said the political administration had restored infrastructure severely damaged by the recent floods. The projects include rehabilitation of a pump house, installation of a pump, construction of a 31-meter-long boundary wall, installation of 5,000 gallon above ground storage tank, laying of 1,060 meters of distribution pipeline, reconstruction of a 360-meter street and 414 meters of flood protection wall. The flood protection walls were rebuilt in Mirbadan Kali Ghundai and Haji Fazal-ur-Rehman Kili villages in Jamrud tehsil. |
