'Underage marriages leading to violations of women's rights'

PESHAWAR: A high number of under age marriages is giving rise to violations of women's rights and a large number of girls suffer due to the practice, said a survey report issued by ActionAid Pakistan on Thursday.Seventy-four percent of girls below the age of 16 were married in Charsadda and Mardan districts, said the report issue on the occasion of International Women's Day.
