| PESHAWAR, March 31: Chief Minister Ameer Haider Hoti has requested Sindh government for provision of 100 kanals of land in Karachi for establishing Abdul Wali Khan University campus. Mr Hoti has made the request in a letter to Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah. Mr Hoti stated Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan was playing vital role in promotion of higher and quality education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. University`s campuses established in other districts were also acquainting the youth with education. The institute has achieved many milestones in a short span of two years, the letter said. Mr Hoti said a university campus in Karachi will benefit students of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh and also help take advantage of seasoned faculty available there, according to a press release. |
