| LAHORE, March 30: A simple but impressive investiture ceremony was held at the Corps Headquarters Auditorium here on Wednesday. Lahore Corps Commander Lt-Gen Rashad Mahmood, who was the chief guest on the occasion, decorated 89 officers, junior commissioned officers and soldiers with military honours and awards. The honours were awarded to the recipients in recognition of their acts of gallantry and performances in their respective fields, says a handout. The recipients of Tamgha-i-Basalat included Maj Sajid Farooq of Frontier Force Regiment and Capt Muhammad Azhar Manzoor of Armoured Corps. |
