Pemra chief goes on leave

ISLAMABAD, Feb 6: Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) chairman Mushtaq Malik has said he is proceeding on two months' leave from Feb 7 in order to settle some family issues. In a statement issued on Sunday, Mr Malik said he would resume his charge on expiry of the leave period. He said any speculations about his leave were factually incorrect as there was hardly any room for speculations because the cases referred to were sub judice. He said he had highest regards for courts and decisions made by them and had been implementing their orders in letter and spirit.
