Indian vessels allowed to anchor off Pakistan coast

QUETTA, Feb 6: Rough seas forced two Indian cargo vessels to anchor some 10 nautical miles off Gwadar on Sunday, sources said.

Indian vessels – Al Adam and Al Karimi – sent a distress message to Pakistan Navy in Gwadar that they were unable to continue their journey to Dubai because of the rough seas and should be allowed to anchor in Pakistani territorial waters in the Arabian Sea.

The Pakistan Navy allowed the Indian boats to anchor in Pakistani waters.
