| PESHAWAR, May 2: An official of the Afghan Consulate on Monday called for promotion of education and restoration of peace and stability in the region. He termed educated society as prerequisite for establishment of durable peace. Speaking at a prize distribution ceremony for Afghan refugee students held under the auspices of Insan Foundation Trust, at Peshawar press club, Mr Hidayatullah said the education was essential for prosperity and development. "No nation can get development and progress without nurturing education", he maintained.—APP |
