Police arrest six in Abbas Town blast case Weapons, explosives seized

KARACHI: A joint team of the Anti-Extremism Cell (AEC) of the Crime Investigation Department, Special Investigation Unit (SIU) and Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) claimed to have arrested six suspects belonging to the banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) on Thursday.The police claimed that they had recovered 100 kilogrammes of explosive material, two Kalashnikovs, five 9mm pistolsand other arms and ammunition from their possession.
