79 Quetta doctors given bail; strike continues

QUETTA: The strike of doctors in Balochistan entered the 36th day on Wednesday against the non-recovery of Dr Saeed Khan while 79 doctors were released on bail.The Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Balochistan chapter gave the strike call on October 16 after unidentified armed men kidnapped an eye specialist, Dr Saeed Khan from the Sariab area of Quetta.According to details, all hospitals in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan remained closed in protest including the emergency services which ... more
