PESHAWAR: Officials, on Friday, warned that the Taliban ban on polio would put 240,000 children at risk in northwest Pakistan, if a vaccination campaign didn't start by the coming week.Local Taliban and Pakistani warlord Hafiz Gul Bahadur banned polio vaccinations in the northwestern tribal region of Waziristan to protest against US drone attacks.
