One killed as police vans bombed in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: A person was killed and 20 others, including six cops and a woman, were killed when two vans carrying prisoners to Mardan were attacked in the city on Saturday, hospital and police officials said.The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack, saying that it was "reaction" to Dr Aafia Siddiqi's imprisonment in the United States.
