SC rejects pleas to meet Hindu girls at shelter home

ISLAMABAD: A three-member bench of the Supreme Court, headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, on Tuesday rejected two pleas, one by a husband and another by a father seeking permission to meet with two Hindu girls, whom the court had sent to Panah, a shelter home in Karachi.The court observed that both girls should take a decision about their future with 'free will' as to with whom they wanted to go, parents or husbands.
