LAHORE, April 30: Indirectly warning the PML-N to prepare itself for facing political isolation, PPP secretary-general Jehangir Badr on Saturday said those who closed the doors of reconciliation had no future.
Speaking at the death anniversary of Begum Abida, the mother of PPP Lahore women wing president Faiza Malik, Badr said that isolation was the destiny of those parties which did not believe in the politics of reconciliation. The PPP-PML-Q alliance was only for strengthening democracy. It would also help the government meet challenges the country was facing, he added. — Staff Reporter |
