Three brothers among four killed in road accident

CHAKWAL, April 15: A leisure trip turned into tragedy when four persons, including three brothers, were killed in road accident here on Friday evening, sources told Dawn.

Three brothers – Mohammad Ali, Mohammad Yusuf and Mohammad Sultan – and their relatives, Imran and Sabir Hussain, residents of Dera Ghazi Khan city, had gone on a trip to Murree three days ago.

On Friday when they were returning to their hometown in their car (MNA-1382), it rammed into a trailer (LSA-7615) on Talagang-Miawali Road at Balwal village. The three brothers died on the spot while Imran and Sabir sustained serious injuries. The injured were shifted to Fauji Foundation Hospital Danda Shah Bilawal where Imran died.

"Mohammad Ali was a student of class six while his elder brother Yusuf studied in class seven," Mohammad Ramzan, a close relative told Dawn on phone.  He said Sultan and Imran were both in their late twenties and worked abroad.

"The family has been ruined with the death of three brothers", said Ramzan who along with his relatives was coming to Talagang to pick up the bodies of his cousins.
