Railway officials reshuffled

LAHORE, April 28: Five principal officers of the Pakistan Railways were given new assignments and two were made officers on special duty on Thursday.

A notification issued by the Railways Ministry said Additional General Manager (Mechanical) Behzad Mehmood would now be the Walton Academy director-general and incumbent GM Qureshi would be an officer on special duty at the railways headquarters in Lahore.

Project Director of Wagons Rehabilitation Project Liaquat Chughtai would be the Workshops Divisional Superintendent in place of Ahsan Mahmood Mian who would now be the AGM (Mechanical).

Services of Chief Controller (Stores) Zahoor Khattak have been placed at the disposal of the Pakistan Railways Advisory and Consultancy Services Limited managing director for his posting as director in place of Azam Ghafoor who would now be the chief controller of stores.

Already on ex-Pakistan leave, Chief Electrical Eng ineer M. Asif would be an officer on special duty.
