| LAHORE, April 15: The Lahore High Court on Friday agreed to hear a petition against drone attacks in Pakistan, DawnNews reported.
The court has asked the federal government and the interior ministry to submit their replies by April 26. The court was informed that innocent Pakistanis were being killed as a result of drone strikes which were only fueling terrorism in the country. According to the petitioner, it was the responsibility of the government to protect its citizens and since it had not been living up to this responsibility, the court should order the government to halt drone attacks. |
