More illegal structures razed

LAHORE, April 28: Special teams of the City District Government of Lahore on Thursday removed dozens of encroachments at various markets and roads in various towns of the metropolis. According to a handout, the CDGL teams removed encroachments at Ghoray Shah, Tezab Ahata, Chamra Mandi in Shalamar Town, Raiwind Road, Ali Town, Wahdat Road, Mustafa Town and Multan Road in Iqbal Town, Temple, Ferozepur, Jail, Queen`s and Lawrence roads, The Mall and other areas in Data Ganj Bakhsh Town. Similarly the teams removed encroachments and demolished illegal structures in Nishtar, Aziz Bhatti, Ravi, Samnabad and Gulberg towns. A CDGL special squad completed thermal fog spray in 16 union councils.
