Four killed on road

GUJAR KHAN, April 14: Four persons were killed and eight others injured in a accident on G.T. Road near Mandra Thursday evening. According to the police, a passenger van (RIS-2994) going to Rawalpindi from Gujar Khan rammed into a roadside tree when its rear left wheel burst. One of the passengers, identified as Shamrez of Bahwlial village in Gujar Khan, died on the spot while three others succumbed to injuries at a hospital. One of them was identified as Rahim, a resident of Qazian village, Gujar Khan. The remaining two deceased, including a woman, could not be identified. — Correspondent
