PESHAWAR, March 30: Civil society activists belonging to Khyber Agency have expressed grave concern over the dilapidated condition of Peshawar-Torkham road and demanded of the government to allocate sufficient funds for its reconstruction. Mr Afridi said that due to bad condition of the roads it took several hours to cover a distance, which would have been possible in one hour if the road was fit for travel. He said that patients were the worst affected, as they could not be shifted to hospitals in time. |
