Four die, 18 injured in road crash

JHANG, March 27: Four people were killed and 18 injured in a collision between a mini-bus and a trailer on Jhang-Layyah Road on Sunday evening. The accident took place near Korewala, 30km from here. The mini-bus carried devotees who were returning to Faisalabad after a visit to the Sakhi Sarwar shrine in Dera Ghazi Khan. Police said two passengers, identified as Zafar and Ahraf, died on the spot and while 20 others were brought to the Jhang DHQ Hospital with multiple injuries. Of them two expired while four others were in critical condition. —Correspondent
