| QUETTA, Feb 24: The chief of Jhalawan tribe and provincial convener of the PML-N, Sardar Sanaullah Zehri has said that all efforts will be made to get Maharaj Lakhmi Gurji, a religious leader of the Hindu community, freed from the captivity of kidnappers. Armed men abducted Mr Gurji between Kalat and Khuzdar towns about two months ago when he was going to attend a wedding. A delegation headed by Santosh Kumar Bugti met the PML-N leader and apprised him of disquiet prevailing in the community over the kidnapping of Mr Gurji. Sardar Zehri termed the kidnapping a conspiracy to defame the Baloch people. Condemning the crime, he said the government was making all out efforts for a safe return of Mr Gurji and assured the delegation that tribal influence would be used in this regard. |
