Martyred policemen’s families

ISLAMABAD, April 25: Pakistan Baitul Mal (PBM) will give Rs5,000 per month to families of policemen who have died in the line of duty. Addressing a cheque-distributing ceremony on Monday at Police Lines Headquarters, PBM's Managing Director Zamurad Khan also announced to educate the children of these policemen in the best educational institutions. Addressing the ceremony, Islamabad's IGP Wajid Ali Khan Durrani said 43 men of Islamabad police have lost their lives in the fight against terrorism. He said police across the country had fought valiantly against terrorists. Mr Durrani added that terrorists were on the run due to the efforts and sacrifices of policemen. —Staff Reporter
