A dazzling display of gems and jewels

LAHORE, April 15: A fabulous fashion show showcasing designer-made gold and diamond jewellery by Taiba – a leading name in gems and jewels all over the world — held at Royal Palm Golf and Country Club. Fashion icon Qasim Yar Tiwana (QYT) organised the event. A magnificent array of glittering and glamorous jewels was showcased by top models at the show which wore a dreamy look as the ambience was tastefully decorated with flowers and majestic candle stands. The evening had a blend of class, aesthetics and innovations. TV anchorperson and a leading fashion diva, Ayesha Sana, hosted the show. She held in high esteem Farah and Zahid Sheikh, who brought 'Taiba Gold and Jewellery' to Pakistan. Since 1980, Taiba has been bringing exquisitely luxurious designer jewllery to cater to the demands of women. After its successful venture in European, Middle Eastern and Gulf countries, Taiba has finally landed in Pakistan. According to many fashion lovers, such shows promoted a soft and true image of the country at international level. They were of the view that such fashion events were a great contribution to boost the national economy when it comes to fashion trade. Top fashion models from Karachi and Lahore wearing intricate designer jewellery made of diamonds, precious and semi-precious stones engraved in yellow and white gold left the ramp blazing with their fiery catwalk. The mouth-watering exhibition of jewellery was just irresistible for the fairer sex present in the gathering. Some male models wearing classic gold watches also walked the ramp. The jewellery wore by models had a look and class of its own. Athar Shehzad did the styling of models while QYT choreographed the event. — Staff Reporter
